Clinical Project or Nursing Research Grant $1,000 Submission Deadline: February 24, 2019 Submit to: endocrinenurses@gmail.com
Purpose The purpose of the grant is to support the development and implementation of either a clinical project or an independent nursing research study. Ph.D. candidates may submit their research as well. Recipients are selected via a blind review process in accordance with the grant criteria. Outcomes of the grants are presented by the grantee at the Endocrine Nurses Society annual meeting in June. CriteriaApplicants must be current members of the ENS for at least 6-months prior to the submission deadline. The award is intended to support a clinical project or nursing research study conducted by a registered nurse to address the clinical needs of endocrine patients. The duration of the grant is one year and grantees may apply for a second year extension. The ENS will expect the grant recipient to present a poster depicting their work at the next annual meeting following completion of the project. One-half of the award will be presented at the annual symposium when the award is announced. If all quarterly reports have been filed and the project completed, the second half of the award will be presented at the next annual meeting. Directions Include

Note that authors are encouraged to also submit their posters to the annual ENDO meetings under "Endocrine Nursing " category. Posters submitted to Annual ENDO meetings are not eligible for ENS award but may be submitted to both meetings. Posters submitted to ENDO meetings may be displayed at ENDO poster sessions, and may be invited to also display at ENS Annual Symposium Reception. |
Travel Grant $500 The Endocrine Nurses Society restricted travel grant supported by our Pharmaceutical Sponsors allows 3 nurses to apply for a maximum $500 travel grant towards their attendance at Endocrine Nurses Annual Symposium The grant applications are reviewed by the ENS Board on a first come first-serve basis. Grants are not awarded to prior grant recipients. Grants can only be used for travel/transportation, symposium registration and direct hotel costs. Expenses will be reimbursed upon presentation of all receipts after attendance at the ENS symposium. Grants may not be used to cover the costs of entertainment or recreational events. Successful applicants will be notified by email before February 1st. Eligibility Criteria:
